With over 30 years of industry experience, Andrew began his career as a founding member of First Cut. He later co-led the Bystronic agency in South Africa until 2020. Andrew currently serves as Managing Director at Alexander & Poole and drives innovation through eTrack, a cloud-based manufacturing platform for the sheet metal industry. An entrepreneur at heart, he is passionate about building businesses that foster innovation and operational excellence.
With more than 29 years in cut-to-size and steel fabrication, Gareth built his career around a deep commitment to the steel sector. Starting at Laser Sprint, he developed strong technical knowledge across mining, military, water, and structural engineering. He co-led the Bystronic agency alongside Andrew until 2020 and also serves as a leader and mentor at Jewll Industries.
Richard Davidson is a Chartered Accountant (SA) with more than three decades of business leadership experience. He began his career at Deloitte & Touche, where he spent six years including three as an Audit Manager. Richard later moved into the logistics sector, ultimately serving as Group Financial Director of The Fuel logistics group. In 2011 he joined South Africa’s exclusive Nespresso distributor, supporting the company through significant Retail expansion, building a strong e-commerce platform and resulting back office scaleability, before assisting in the transfer of the business back to Nestlé in 2023. Richard now brings his strategic, financial, and operational expertise to the sheet-metal industry, focusing on building financially resilient businesses and driving sustainable growth.
